Louisville Lemurs starter Pim Pimling hurled his team past the Florida Flamingos, 3-0. John Waffle got credit for the save for Louisville. It was his 5th of the year. Today's win puts Louisville at 14-11, while Florida falls to 15-10.

The Flamingos had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Lemurs going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 21-year old designated hitter Samuel Sheeping came to the plate. Sheeping hit a solo home run on a first pitch changeup from Florida hurler Moe Mentum. It was Sheeping's 6th home run of the year.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Pimling said.
