The Ranas grabbed a win, 5-1, at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons, overcoming a fine effort from California pitcher Chad Powers. Powers went 5.1 innings and allowed 4 runs. Kerry Berry, now 1-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. The Ranas now have a record of 8-18.

Puerto Rico used a well-timed hit by Jeremiah Bullfrog to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Ranas ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Nice to get this one," said Bullfrog. "Wins have been hard to come by."
