The California Firehawks stopped the Amarillo Armadillos, 4-2, at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons. The Firehawks got a big game from Coleman Carver, who was 2-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. With the win, the Firehawks sit at 14-12.

With California trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the third, Carver hit a curveball from VJ Edgecombe for a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Firehawks ahead, 3-2.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Carver told reporters after the game.
