Swift Steeds Rally to Eke Out Win
The State College Swift Steeds picked up a win at Florida Man Park, knocking off the Florida Flamingos, 5-4. Starting pitcher Maddog Thornberry played a key role in the triumph. Reliever Gabriel Priest picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. Shaningo Flaps took the loss. Blain K'Spais earned the save for State College, his 4th of the year.

The game hung in the balance when Akshay Hrishikesh came to bat in the top of the 11th inning. With two out and a runner on 3rd, he hit a run-scoring single, putting State College ahead and helping them clinch the win.

"There's no quit in this team," said Swift Steeds manager .

With the victory, the Swift Steeds upped their record to 15-11.
