The Chicago Kingpins defeated the Amarillo Armadillos, 7-5, in Minor League PBE action at The Merchant Burrow. Chicago pitcher Mitch Goatbisky had a standout performance. Strider nailed down his 6th save. The third-place Kingpins have a record of 14-13.

Bob Honkbal drove in 2 runs for Chicago. The 21-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Trongle Man. It was his 16th RBI of the season.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Honkbal told the Chicago Herald. "It's as simple as that."
