Baseball fans saw a good contest between the California Firehawks and Brew City Bears.
In the 6-4 California win over Brew City, the impact of Clarke Maxx was substantial. Maxx, who is tied for 7th in the MiLPBE in stolen bases with 10, went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. California is now 12-16, Brew City 18-10.
California took a 5-1 lead on Maxx's 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off The Pizzanator III in the top of the sixth, propelled California to the win.
"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Maxx. "You've got to get results."
