Brew City Nets 5-4 Win Versus Flamingos
|
The Brew City Bears defeated the Florida Flamingos, 5-4, in Minor League PBE action at Florida Man Park. Brew City pitcher Xavier Zickafoose had a standout performance. The Pizzanator III earned the save for Brew City, his 9th of the year. The win puts Brew City at 18-10 this season.
Brew City won the game in part because of Handel Aldi's Nuts. The third baseman ripped a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Bears ahead, 5-4. For the game, Aldi's Nuts had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
