The 5-4 Cancun win over Vancouver was due in large part to Feka Ohi Kau. The Toros third baseman was 4-7 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The winner in relief was Pedro Martini. He is now 2-0. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. John Cowgill recorded the save, his 1st.

Cancun used the clutch hitting of Troy Murphy to capture the win. The right fielder drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the 13th inning to give the Toros the lead, 5-4. For the game, Murphy had 1 single and 1 double in 7 at-bats.

"Good win for us, tough loss for them," said Ohi Kau.

Cancun is now 5-2.
