The Florida Flamingos topped the Puerto Rico Ranas by a score of 6-4. Leading the way was left fielder McScootie Fortune. Fortune went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs for the Flamingos. Junior O'Callaghan closed the door for Florida, picking up his 3rd save of the year. The victory puts Florida at 11-17.

Florida used the timely hitting of Ozzy Batty to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Flamingos on top, 6-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Fortune.
