Wheelers Pick Up 5-2 Win Against Puerto Rico
The Anchorage Wheelers knocked off the Puerto Rico Ranas, 5-2, in Minor League PBE action at Kay Faraday Memorial Stadium. Anchorage pitcher and Cupertino, California, native Roomba Macintosh had an outstanding performance. Macintosh, now 2-5, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 2, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Wham A Geddon earned the save for Anchorage, his 1st.

Anchorage needed the clutch hitting of Cameron Squires to seal the deal. The first baseman swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Wheelers on top, 3-1. For the game, Squires had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"If it can go wrong, it will go wrong," said , the Puerto Rico manager.

Puerto Rico is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 8 in a row.
