Bears Pick Up 3-0 Win Against Puerto Rico
|
Brew City starter Aperol Sprtiz put a stranglehold on the Puerto Rico offense. The right-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Bears to a 3-0 win. Rufus LaFaro notched his 4th save of the season. The Bears go to 11-17 with the win.
The tide might have turned in the bottom of the fifth, had not Aperol Sprtiz made a big pitch. With a runner on 1st and the Ranas trailing 2-0, he retired Sheppard Vakarian when the Puerto Rico shortstop lined out.
