Flamingos Sneak By Hepcats, 3-2
|
The Florida Flamingos had to overcome a good performance from Kansas City pitcher Hunter Bishop to claim a 3-2 win at Florida Man Park. Bishop went 5 innings and allowed no runs. The win puts Florida at 18-10 this season.
Florida took a 3-2 lead on Link Althouse's 8th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Kansas City pitcher Skinster Mckinley in the bottom of the eighth.
After the game, Florida manager applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
