State College shortstop Diego Ramieriez made his presence felt in the 8-7 Swift Steeds triumph over the Chicago Kingpins. Ramieriez was 4-5 with 4 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Shaq Itoff picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Bauer Bottom was tagged with the loss. The Swift Steeds go to 13-17, putting them third in the East Division.

State College used the timely hitting of Kota Mizushima to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Swift Steeds on top, 7-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Ramieriez.
