Flamingos Roll to 8-2 Win Over Bears
|
The Florida Flamingos downed the Brew City Bears, 8-2. The hitting star was designated hitter Mark Honcho. Honcho went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Flamingos. Picking up the win was Lilo Pelekai. He went 5.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits. The right--hander struck out 3 and walked 3. The save was credited to Cody Ogg, his 1st.
In the top of the first, with the game still scoreless, Honcho hit a 2-run single to put his team in the lead.
