Mcfish Slugs Bears to 5-1 Win
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the State College Swift Steeds and Brew City Bears get after it.
Ai Mcfish helped his team muscle past the State College Swift Steeds , 5-1. In the game, the Brew City first baseman belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Brigham Irons earned the win for Brew City. He lasted 5 innings, allowing 1 run on 4 hits, while striking out 3. With the win, he raised his record to 2-2.
Mcfish had a key at-bat for Brew City early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and gave Brew City an early 3-0 lead.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Brew City manager . "It's usually not just one thing."
With the win, Brew City pushed its record to 18-12.
