The Puerto Rico Ranas, despite a fine performance by Brew City pitcher Masahiro Sato, grabbed a 3-2 win at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. Sato allowed no runs over 6.1 innings. The win puts Puerto Rico at 9-22.
Scoops Cunningham [BOT] had a critical at-bat with one out in the top of the ninth for Puerto Rico. He came through with a 2-run single to put Puerto Rico in front, 3-2.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Cunningham [BOT] told the Puerto Rico Chronicle.
