Honcho Stars in 9-5 Swift Steeds Win
Good production from left fielder Michael Honcho helped the State College Swift Steeds topple the Florida Flamingos, 9-5. Honcho went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Swift Steeds . Li Tattersall picked up the win, lifting his record to 5-2 on the season. He struck out 5 and walked 2 in 5.1 innings, while yielding 3 runs. Cass Silskrumblin, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 6th save.

Honcho contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for State College in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-0, Honcho took a curveball from LaLa Dee and stroked the home run to right. His 6th home run of the season allowed the Swift Steeds to leap in front, 3-2.

"I still think this team can play even better," Honcho told the State College Daily News.

With the win, State College raised its record to 20-11.
