Hepcats Roll Over Lemurs, 9-3
|
Theodor Geisel was a major factor in the 9-3 Kansas City win over Louisville. The Hepcats second baseman went 2 for 6 with a home run, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. Matt Buster, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 4th save. The triumph puts Kansas City at 18-13 for the season.
In the top of the seventh, the Hepcats grabbed the lead when Geisel hit his 6th home run of the season. The 3-run home run off John Waffle made it 6-3, Kansas City.
"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Geisel.
