Walterson Helps Armadillos Run Win Streak to 5
|
Walter Walterson knocked in 3 runs to help Amarillo beat Puerto Rico, 6-2. The third baseman collected 1 single, 1 double, and 1 home run. Guess Who picked up the win, improving his season record to 3-1. He struck out 1 in 5 innings. This win makes it 5 in a row for Amarillo.
Walterson contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Amarillo in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Walterson took a screwball from Ottov Yeoj and stroked the home run to right-center. His 7th home run of the season allowed the Armadillos to leap in front, 2-1.
