Victory Takes Swift Steeds to 19-13
|
Pitcher Liam Lopez was sensational for the State College Swift Steeds in his team's 6-1 triumph over the Amarillo Armadillos. Lopez picked up the win, and it was well-earned. Picking up the save was Blonde345, his 1st. The win for the Swift Steeds lifted their record to 19-13.
Having an impact for State College was Himiko Toga. In the top of the third inning, the 21-year old designated hitter had a run-scoring sacrifice fly to make the score 2-0, Swift Steeds .
"I thought we played a nice game," Toga told the State College News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
