Boosted by the 2-hit performance of Les Skoden the San Antonio Sloths defeated the Cancun Toros, 8-0. San Antonio pitcher Johnny Tatum earned the win, hiking his record to 1-1. Jihmih Beniko suffered the loss. The defeat makes Cancun 3-5.

Early in the game, Skoden had a 2-run home run for San Antonio. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Sloths on top, 2-0.
