Rougarous Pick Up 8-1 Win Against San Antonio
Spirited fans greeted the San Antonio Sloths for their clash with the New Orleans Rougarous.

New Orleans designated hitter Chauncey Ingram contributed significantly to his team's 8-1 win over the San Antonio Sloths. Ingram, who finished 4th in the Champions in home runs with 23 in 2073, went 1 for 3 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Rougarous. The winning pitcher was Griff Manzer. His record now stands at 1-0. The left-hander went 7 innings, allowing 1 run on 7 hits for the Rougarous.

With New Orleans leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Ingram hit a screwball from Chad Innings-Eater for a grand slam home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Rougarous ahead, 5-0.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Ingram told the New Orleans Herald.

The loss drops San Antonio to 2-6.
