Armadillos Win 5th Straight, Take Down Hepcats, 2-0

Blake Faux III played a key role in a gritty 2-0 Amarillo Armadillos win against the Kansas City Hepcats. Faux III picked up the win for Amarillo, going 7 innings. He gave up no runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 2-5. Joey Hightower finished to wrap up his 1st save.
Amarillo used the timely hitting of Onyur Left to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Armadillos on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Nice to keep stacking the wins," said Left.
