Angle Lifts Bears to 11-3 Win
With designated hitter Launch Angle leading the charge, the Brew City Bears defeated the Amarillo Armadillos, 11-3, at The Burrow Presented by the PBE Bigger Strange Pod. Angle, who is the 2nd-best prospect in the Bears organization, went 3 for 6 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 5. Picking up the win was Ryan Express. He went 7 innings, allowing no runs on 4 hits. The right--hander struck out 6 and walked 1. Brew City has a 3-game win streak, while Amarillo has lost 3 in a row.

With Brew City leading 2-0 in the top of the fourth, Angle hit a slider from Barto O'Colon for a grand slam home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Bears ahead, 6-0.

"It feels good to get this one," Angle told the Brew City Times.
