Louisville Sent Home with 12-5 Loss
The Brew City Bears picked up a win at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House, knocking off the Louisville Lemurs, 12-5. Starting pitcher Xavier Zickafoose played a key role in the triumph. Lots-o'-Heineken Bear [BOT] sewed up the save, his 1st. The Bears move to 14-20 with the win, while the Lemurs drop to 23-11.

Jerry Coleman had a big 2-run double for the Bears in the bottom of the second inning. With Brew City leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a screwball from Shohei Onetani, who is tied for 10th in the MiLPBE in strikeouts with 38, and swatted a double to left. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bears ahead, 3-0.

"Good win for us," said Coleman. "Now we'll focus on the next one."
