Amarillo picked up a win at Count Longardeaux's Strong Badian Dictionary Fo' My Own Words Stadium, bumping off the State College Swift Steeds , 6-3. Pitcher Flop Quads was a major reason the Armadillos emerged victorious. Trongle Man locked down his 4th save. The Armadillos improved to a lofty 25-9.
Amarillo relied on the hitting of Brent Goldberg to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Armadillos on top, 3-2. For the game, Goldberg had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
