Detroit picked up a win at The Power House, bumping off the Buffalo Surge, 7-2. Pitcher Goaty McGoatFace was a major reason the Demons emerged victorious. The loss drops the Surge to 2-6.

One big at-bat came with a runner on 1st in the top of the seventh inning. Biff Slamous, who finished 5th in the Champions in extra base hits with 59 in 2071, hit a single off Buffalo pitcher Jasper Windt. The Demons went on to win the game.

"Enjoyed this one," McGoatFace told the Detroit Herald. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
