Brew City left fielder Xhektoe helped his team beat the California Firehawks, 4-2. Xhektoe, who is tied for 6th in the MiLPBE in triples with 1, went 2 for 5 for the Bears. Lots-o'-Heineken Bear got credit for the win, improving to 4-1. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 2 innings. Paj Bobba closed it out for his 4th save.
Thicker Thick McThicc, the 23-year old shortstop , had a direct impact on the outcome. McThicc contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Brew City up, 3-1.
California manager said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
With the win, Brew City upped its record to 20-14.
