Spirited fans greeted the Amarillo Armadillos for their clash with the Chicago Kingpins.

The Chicago Kingpins powered past the Amarillo Armadillos, 10-1, at The Burrow Presented By Frankie's Fun Bites. Sparky Dee provided some of the pop. He went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 4. Chicago pitcher Oskar Von Kautz got the win. He's now 5-1. Marsh Mellow Jr. was tagged with the loss. Mitch Goatbisky [BOT] closed the door for Chicago, picking up his 1st save of the year.

Chicago third baseman El Grande Mexicano contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fourth. With two down, he hit a changeup to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 41st hit of the season and put the Kingpins ahead, 4-0.

"Good hitting and good pitching is a lethal combination," said Mexicano.

Chicago is now 24-10, Amarillo 17-17.
