9-4 Loss to Swift Steeds Extends Puerto Rico Losing Streak

The 2067 season is getting uglier for Puerto Rico.
Behind a solid performance from shortstop Bageshwari Singh, the State College Swift Steeds defeated the Puerto Rico Ranas, 9-4. Singh went 3 for 5 with 3 doubles. He scored 3 runs for the Swift Steeds . The Ranas, now 11-24, have lost 6 in a row.
Singh contributed in the bottom of the third. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a run-scoring double. It was one at-bat among others that helped State College get the win.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Singh told the State College News.
