Duckley Jr., Swift Steeds Too Much for Wheelers

With center fielder Press Duckley Jr. leading the charge, the State College Swift Steeds defeated the Anchorage Wheelers, 9-2, at Count Longardeaux's Strong Badian Dictionary Fo' My Own Words Stadium. Duckley Jr., who is tied for 6th in the MiLPBE with a .533 slugging percentage, went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5. Anchorage has now lost 4 in a row.
Early in the game, Duckley Jr. had a grand slam home run for State College. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Swift Steeds on top, 5-1.
"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager said.
