The home crowd had a good time watching the Amarillo Armadillos and State College Swift Steeds get after it.

Bryce Tyrone Johnson was a major contributor to the 7-3 State College win over Amarillo. The Swift Steeds first baseman was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Archie Richards earned the win to go to 4-3. He allowed 2 runs on 6 hits, with 1 walk and 4 strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth when Johnson hit a grand slam home run. It propelled the Swift Steeds into the lead, 6-2.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Johnson told a State College News reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
