Giannoulas has 4 hits tonight to Power Scorpions Offense
The Death Valley Scorpions began the 2068 season with a convincing 11-8 win over the Cancun Toros at Cari Price Memorial Stadium. Most impressive was Death Valley first baseman Ted Giannoulas, who went 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. The win belongs to Bandit Keith in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Center Fielder took the loss for Cancun. Xavier Pruitt got credit for the save for Death Valley. It was his 1st of the year.

Giannoulas had a key at-bat for Death Valley early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and gave Death Valley an early 3-0 lead.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Giannoulas.
