Ranas Lose Again, 7-1, to Swift Steeds
The State College Swift Steeds knocked off the Puerto Rico Ranas, 7-1, at Count Longardeaux's Strong Badian Dictionary Fo' My Own Words Stadium. Himiko Toga was a big reason State College won. The designated hitter went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. State College pitcher Liam Lopez got the win, upping his record to 5-3. Ottov Yeoj got the loss. Twain Teetoo earned the save, his 1st.

With State College leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Toga hit a circle change from Ottov Yeoj for a 3-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Swift Steeds ahead, 5-1.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Toga. "And not try to do too much."

The win puts State College at 22-14 this season.
