Late Rally by Kingpins Secures 3-2 Win
The Chicago Kingpins and Florida Flamingos played an entertaining game for Florida Man Park patrons.

The Chicago Kingpins topped the Florida Flamingos, 3-2, at Florida Man Park. Chicago catcher Joe East was a spark plug for the offense. He went 3-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Ouro Kronii [BOT], now 1-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings. Checo Perez [BOT] saved it for Chicago.

The game was all tied up in the top of the eighth, until East delivered big-time for Chicago, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Knuckle Puck. The game-changing hit put the Kingpins on top, 3-2.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said East.

Chicago now sits at 21-15, while Florida falls to 13-23.
