Hepcats Take Down Firehawks, 6-4
|
The Kansas City Hepcats and California Firehawks put on quite a show.
A.J. Justice was a vital contributor to the 6-4 Kansas City victory over California. The Hepcats first baseman was 4 for 4 with 4 singles and a walk. Kanye West, credited with the win, is now 2-4. He allowed no runs on 2 hits.
Kansas City used the clutch hitting of Angron World Eater to capture the win. The right fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Hepcats ahead, 6-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"We'll savor this win," World Eater told the Kansas City Observer, "then get ready for the next game."
Kansas City has now won 3 in a row.
