The Kansas City Hepcats beat the Puerto Rico Ranas, 13-5, at Kay Faraday Memorial Stadium. Niklavs Stavinskis, in particular, was impressive. He went 4 for 6 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. With the win, Kansas City raised its record to 22-16.
