State College Beats Amarillo, 3-2
|
State College and Amarillo played a hard-fought contest.
The State College Swift Steeds got a strong performance from pitcher Jackson Ramirez, who stymied the Amarillo offense en route to a win, 3-2, at The Burrow Presented by the PBE Bigger Strange Pod. Twain Teetoo earned the save for State College, his 2nd of the year.
Avery Acres, who is tied for 7th in the MiLPBE in triples with 1, aided the State College cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth. For the game, the left fielder went 1-4 with a double.
"I like the roll we're on," said State College manager .
State College has now won 5 games in a row.
