Cash Jr. goes 3-for-4, Anchorage Gets 7-3 Victory
The Anchorage Wheelers defeated the Kansas City Hepcats, 7-3, at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo. Anchorage was led by 21-year old right fielder Chris Cash Jr., who went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Ollie Damra picked up the win with 7 innings of work. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 7. On the season, he is now 1-2. Their 22-16 record puts the Wheelers first in the West Division.
