Wheelers Take Nail-Biter Over Hepcats
The Anchorage Wheelers had to overcome a fine effort from Kansas City pitcher Christian Summers to win, 3-1, at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo. Summers went 6.1 innings and allowed no runs. The win went to Marc Jackson in relief, making him now 2-0. Porygon Two took the loss for Kansas City. Today's win puts Anchorage at 19-19, while Kansas City falls to 21-17.

The decisive blow was delivered by Cameron Squires in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a 2-run home run off 20-year old left-handed pitcher Rohn Jocker to win the game for Anchorage. The home crowd went nuts.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Squires said.
