Anchorage used a superb performance from starting pitcher Harlem Moncrief to down the Brew City Bears, 1-0. Anchorage reliever Rawburt Grimes picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Paj Bobba was saddled with the loss. Anchorage currently is in 4th place in the West Division at 17-22.

Anchorage used the timely hitting of Wheyen Shoresie to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Wheelers on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Anchorage manager .
