The California Firehawks powered past the Brew City Bears, 8-7, at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. Eun Seong went 4-6 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once, to lead the charge. Ichiban Kasuga sewed up the save, his 2nd. California now sits at 21-18, while Brew City falls to 18-21.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 20-year old left fielder Jon Benis. Benis had a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Firehawks ahead, 6-4. For the game, Benis had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
