Bears Get Thrilling 3-2 Win
|
Extra innings were needed to determine a winner at Florida Man Park.
The Brew City Bears used a stellar performance from pitcher Sloane Sinclair to throttle the Florida offense en route to an extra-inning, 3-2 win at Florida Man Park. Real Games got credit for the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 4 innings. Picking up the save was 20-year old left-handed pitcher Akira Sendai.
The most important at-bat for Brew City came in the top of the 12th inning, when shortstop Agnes Digital stroked a 1-0 circle change to center for a run-scoring single, putting Brew City up, 3-2.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Florida manager said, following the tough loss.
The 4th-place Bears are now 19-20, the Flamingos 19-20.
