No one was more impactful than Julio Ruiz Jr. in the 6-1 Brew City win over Louisville. Ruiz Jr., who is tied for 9th in the MiLPBE in runs scored with 27, went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Masahiro Sato was the winner. He's now 5-1. The loser was 20-year old left-handed pitcher Blake Faux III. Brew City is now 25-14.

Brew City second baseman Vumion Stitcherson contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fifth. With two down, he hit a slider to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 42nd hit of the season and put the Bears ahead, 5-1.
