State College left fielder Lucas Carter contributed to his team's 7-3 win over the California Firehawks. Carter went 1 for 2 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Swift Steeds . State College has now won 6 straight, while the Firehawks have lost 3 in a row.

State College used a well-timed hit by Ulysses Ballion to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Swift Steeds ahead, 4-2. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
