Lemurs Suffer One-Run Loss at Puerto Rico
In a low-scoring contest between the Puerto Rico Ranas and the Louisville Lemurs, 23-year old right-handed pitcher Muffin Heeler proved to be the difference. The Puerto Rico right-hander earned props for his performance in the 2-1 Ranas win. Heeler got the win, improving to 3-3. He gave up 2 hits and walked 2 over 6.1 innings. He allowed no runs. The Ranas move to 17-22 with the win, while the Lemurs drop to 21-18.

Puerto Rico third baseman El Grande Mexicano delivered a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth. Overall, he went 3 for 4, picking up 1 home run, 1 single, and 1 double. He scored 1 run and knocked in 1.

"You have to win 1-0, 3-2, 2-1 games if you want to get to where you want to go," said Ranas manager .
