Anchorage Sent Home with 5-3 Loss

The Chicago Kingpins beat the Anchorage Wheelers, 5-3, at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. Christopher Hoff, in particular, was impressive. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Chicago pitcher Beeg Yosh [BOT] earned the win, hiking his record to 2-1. Brad Van de Hat suffered the loss. Mickey Martino closed it out for his 7th save.
Tank Fromas, who is tied for 8th in the MiLPBE in triples with 1, chipped in a run-scoring single for Chicago in the bottom of the third. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
"Just glad I could help us get a win," said Fromas.
The Kingpins now have a mark of 21-19.
