The Anchorage Wheelers took on the Florida Flamingos at Florida Man Park.
The Anchorage Wheelers downed the Florida Flamingos, 6-0. The hitting star was first baseman Enrique Checo. Checo belted 3 home runs for the Wheelers. Wham A Geddon recorded the save, his 1st.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Dean Ice? The Anchorage third baseman had a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Wheelers on top, 1-0. For the game, Ice had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Ice said.
