Louisville and California put this game in the books despite some rain.

The Louisville Lemurs beat the California Firehawks, 7-1, at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons. Starting pitcher Pim Pimling was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Nikola Gru [BOT] nailed down the save.

The Lemurs got a big hit from designated hitter Andrew BroChacho. Facing California pitcher Ichiban Kasuga in the top of the fifth, BroChacho pounded a 3-run home run to left. His 4th home run of the season put the Lemurs ahead, 7-0.

"It was a good team win. Everybody threw something in," BroChacho told the Louisville Today.

Louisville raised its record to 27-14 with the win.
