The inspired effort of Anchorage second baseman Jackson Love was not enough to prevent a loss, 5-4, to the Puerto Rico Ranas. Love went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Puerto Rico reliever Dr. LBG was the winner. His record is now 2-1. Kip Treadwell took the loss. The Ranas sport a record of 12-29.

Lumosity Frog, the 28-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Frog contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to put Puerto Rico up, 5-4.

"We'll put that win in the can," said Frog, "and go after the next one."
