The Florida Flamingos defeated the Puerto Rico Ranas, 8-0, in Minor League PBE action at Florida Man Park. Florida pitcher Animal Kingdom had a standout performance. Kingdom got the win, improving to 5-2. He gave up 3 hits and walked 1 over 6.1 innings. He allowed no runs. With the win over Puerto Rico, the Flamingos improved to 24-17.

Florida second baseman Alan Greer contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a circle change to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 52nd hit of the season and put the Flamingos ahead, 4-0.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Greer.
