Kingpins Get Clutch Win, 3-2
|
In a tight tilt between the Chicago Kingpins and the Puerto Rico Ranas, Avery Time was the difference-maker. The Chicago right-hander excelled in his team's 3-2 win in 13 innings. Chicago has run its win streak to 4 straight.
The decisive blow was delivered by Sparky Dee in the bottom of the 13th when he hit a run-scoring double off 32-year old right-handed pitcher Harry Berry [BOT] to win the game for Chicago. The home crowd went nuts.
"This game tested our mettle," said Time.
