Space Rangers Need Extra Frames to Get Past Scorpions
|
The Lunar Base Space Rangers went home winners at Lunar Base SkyDome, thanks in large part to starter Benjamin Abenduct. Abenduct stifled the Death Valley Scorpions, enabling Lunar Base to grab the 3-0 win. Kelvin Gauzeman came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. His record now stands at 3-1. Lunar Base is last in the Champions Conference East with a record of 17-22.
Lunar Base won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With one out and Xavier Pruitt on the mound for Death Valley, first baseman Walker Texas-Ranger hit a dramatic 3-run home run, bringing Space Rangers fans to their feet.
"We put together a nice win," Abenduct said.
