Raptors Squeeze By Buffalo, 9-8

The Boise Raptors gave their fans something to talk about with a thrilling, walk-off win.
The Boise Raptors topped the Buffalo Surge, 9-8, with right fielder Smalls playing a big role. Smalls went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 7 RBI and scoring once for the Raptors in the win. Boise reliever Maximillion Porter picked up the win, raising his record to 2-1. Rakeem Rivers was tagged with the loss.
Livingston Tweedlecock was the walk-off hero for Boise. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Raptors designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We got the victory," said Tweedlecock. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
With the win, the Raptors are 19-37.
