Rougarous Walk It Off for 28th Win of Season
Cancun wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher John Cowgill, falling to the New Orleans Rougarous, 4-3. Cowgill threw 8.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. With the win over Cancun, the Rougarous improved to 28-29.

The decisive blow was delivered by Harry Callahan in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 26-year old left-handed pitcher Lizzie WOOOOHOOOO to win the game for New Orleans. The home crowd went nuts.

"Walking a team off at the end -- there's no greater feeling," said Callahan.
