The game was at a stalemate until second baseman Tyler Detherage came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Death Valley pitcher Zachary Vega III, he hit a 2-2 cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Cancun on top, 5-4.
