The home crowd had a good time watching the San Antonio Sloths and Buffalo Surge get after it.
Getting offensive support from Hulk Savage, the Buffalo Surge topped the San Antonio Sloths, 6-3. Savage went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Surge. The winning pitcher was Keepa Secret. His record is now 3-5. The left-hander went 6 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits for the Surge.
With Buffalo leading 3-2 in the bottom of the fourth, Savage came up to bat against San Antonio pitcher Mike Boss III. Savage hit a fastball to left for a 3-run home run. His 6th home run of the season put the Surge on top, 6-2.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Savage.
Buffalo now owns a record of 20-23.
