New Orleans got a terrific performance from pitcher Brian Eshleman III, but it wasn't enough to beat the Cancun Toros. Cancun won the Coliseo Toros, presentado por VINS contest, 4-2. Eshleman III threw 7.2 innings of 1-hit ball for the losing team. Cancun reliever Lizzie WOOOOHOOOO picked up the win, upping his record to 5-1. Takeda Takahashi was saddled with the loss. With the win over New Orleans, the Toros improved to 39-19.

Cancun took a 3-2 lead on Ejecto Seato's 1st triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which Seato hit in the bottom of the eighth, left New Orleans pitcher Takeda Takahashi visibly frustrated.

"We've got a great group of guys," Seato said, "and we're having fun right now."
