Rougarous Top Scorpions in Extras, 2-1
|
In a tight contest between the New Orleans Rougarous and the Death Valley Scorpions, Colby Koffman was the determining factor. The New Orleans left-hander sparkled in his team's 2-1 win. The Rougarous raised their record to 23-35.
New Orleans took advantage of an error in the top of the tenth inning. The game was tied, 1-1, when Udo Bonga hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Rougarous in front, 2-1.
"We came out on top and that's all I can ask for," said Koffman.
