Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Kirk Swerve Jr.? The Vancouver shortstop had a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Vandals on top, 4-0. For the game, Swerve Jr. had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Swerve Jr. told the Vancouver Times.
