Cancun Roughed Up By Scorpions
The Death Valley Scorpions used an offensive barrage to beat the Cancun Toros, 10-0, at Cari Price Memorial Stadium. Chazz Lamborghini led the way, going 3-for-3 for Death Valley. The first-place Scorpions have a one-game lead in their division.

The Scorpions got a big hit from catcher Daniel Plainview. In the bottom of the seventh, Plainview pounded a 3-run home run to left. His 8th home run of the season put the Scorpions ahead, 10-0.
